GENERAL ENVIORNMENT:
DEMOGRAPHICS:
We
may consider this factor as demographic may differ time to time, as the changes
occur in demographics of Karachi, the amendments will be made. The population
of Karachi is about 180 million, but as far as my project is
concern we are going to serve Karachi because it’s a metropolitan city, there
are many big companies who need PR and marketing and income level is also very
high.
ECONOMIC ENVIORNMENT:
It may
affect the product as the inflation rate may change the cost of services and
other expenses. The inflation rate in Pakistan was last reported at 10.1% in
January of 2012. From 2003 until 2010, the average inflation rate in Pakistan
was 10.15%.
TECHONOLOGICAL
ENVIORNMENT:
I found this an important factor as PR and
Marketing employees needs fast communication devices. All employees will be
given Blackberry cell phone to communicate well with Clients response to their
mails effectively, as the technological environment is changing day by day so
we have to be fast and quick with the new changes in technology.
LEGAL ENVIORNMENT:
Approval will be required from the Provincial
government of Pakistan for operating PR and Marketing Consultants in Karachi as
most of the firms arecertified. Permission must also be needed for exhibitions,
concerts and Promotions from the high authorities.It must be also registered
with income tax department and sales tax department. Prevailing rate of income taxfor sole
proprietorship is in various slabs max 35%.
POLITICAL ENVIORMENT:
Laws and policies as described by Government
Authorities will be considered. Otherwise there are not a very solid
restrictions and laws as far as PR and Marketing is concerned.
INDUSTERIAL ENVIORNMENT:
THREAT OF NEW ENTRANTS:
These will always an important environmental factor to
be considered because new entrant can hit badly to the existing players if they
come with an innovation and new technology. They also can affect our
competitive advantage. For sustaining our competitive advantage we have to be
innovative and give our best services to the clients for creating a value.
