Charity or Social Work In Pakistan

Inspiration:
In 2007 my Grandmother got handsome amount from her property share. According to her she don’t want to buy new home, car or other expensive thing and also not interested in gave that to any of her son or daughter. Because she wants to use that in very unique propose that was to help needy student without discrimination of gender, age, family background or percentage. Her concepts totally base on our religious ground i-e Qarz-e-Hasana.

Qarz-e-Hasana:
The purpose of Qarz-e-Hasana is to provide interest free loan and also not payable at demand.
Mission:
To guide by the believe that all lives, no matter where they live, have equal values. Our objective is to encourage and stimulate the well-off sector of the society to come forward and participate in feeding and providing material support to the poor.
Students who could not afford education were given Qarz-e-Hasna (Interest Free Educational Loan) to cover their educational expenses. The purpose of Qarz-e-Hasna is to help people by providing them interest free loan.
So far Qarz-e-Hasna amounting to Rs100K has been given to students.

What is “Goody loans” “Beautiful loan”?
Many learned authors has explained it as whatever given to another person selflessly with pure motives. Allah describes whatever man spends in this manner as a loan made to none other than Him. And Allah undertakes to repay it several folds.
Spending in the cause of God is called metaphorically “A Beautiful Loan “it is excellent in many ways:
1. It shows a beautiful spirit of self denial.
2. In other loans there may be doubt as to the safety of your capital, here given it to the Lord of all, in whose hand are the keys of want or plenty giving, you may have manifold blessings and with holding, You may even lose what you have, if we remember our goal is Allah, can we turn away from His cause”.
From the above quotation we know that QARZ-E-HASNA is the amount spends in way of Allah and in name of Allah with pure intentions.
Allah commands us that the Holy Qur’an will guide those “who spend out from what we provide them”. Anyone amongst us who is guided to follow these commands from Allah must really be grateful to Him.
QARZ-E-HASNA:
At the beginning it sound impossible thing to happen. Who has capacity to give loan to Allah? Why at all Allah will want to take loan from His own servants, when Allah Himself is the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe? These and such other questions do arise in our minds therefore, it will not be out of place to explain in brief the concept of QARZ-E-HASNA in the light of verses (Ayaat) from the holy Qur’an:
QARZ-E-HASNA is not a word coined by anybody; It is from Allah Himself and is found in Holy Qur’an itself. The relevant citation from Holy Qur’an is as under:
Who is he that will loan to Allah “A beautiful loan”(QARZ-E-HASNA)which Allah will double and multiply many times? It is Allah that gives (you) want or plenty and to Him shall be your return”.
Surah Baqarah 2:245
If you loan to Allah “A beautiful loan” (QARZ-E-HASNA) He will double it to your (credit) and He will grant you forgiveness; For Allah is Most Ready to appreciate(service),most forbearing”.
Surah Tagabun-64:17
When QARZ-E-HASNA to be given:
In Surah Baqaraa Ayaat no 254 Prior to Ayatal Kursi it is stated as under:
O you believe! Spend out of (the bounties) We have provided for you, before the Day comes, when no bargaining (will avail), nor friendship, nor intercession, those who reject faith they are the wrong doers.”
In the above ayat 2: 254, We are Commanded to spend before the `Day' comes that is before the Qayamat. We do not know when there will be Qayamat. No one knows. Only Allah knows. We all perhaps are not mindful of Qayamat (The `Day') because we feel that it is a distant far.
One of the ways a man continues adding to his good deeds even after his death is arranging to spend in the way of Allah. Charities to all those who are in eed. This is known as `Sawabe Jariya' The man may do of in his own life or on an his behalf his nears and dears may do it. By deviating a little, we may make mention of another very fundamental (Muhakeem) ayat that is 3:92,which is the very first ayat in the 4 para and is known as "lan tanalul birr" the translation of the said ayat 3:22
Lan tanalu' is as under:
"By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give (freely) of that which you love; and whatever you give, of a truth, God knoweth it well.”Q.3.92
Similarly in Sura Ma'un (qur'an : 107) Allah tells us that if we refuse help to needy & destitute & refuse to meet even their small needs then our `Namaz' is only for showing to people & not for the sake of Allah. In sura Al-Takasur (Qur'an - 102) Allah warns us that on that `Day' we shall be questioned about the Bounties of Allah bestowed on us and how we utilised them. Did we selfishly enjoy ourselves or did we also remember the poor down trodden and helped them.
These are some of the Quranic Teachings we have quoted above. The religion of Islam teaches us to `sacrifice' from amongst the best. `QARZ -E- HASNA' is actually the climax of all the Qur'anic teachings on aspect of spending in the way of Allah and only for the sake of Allah. Without any expectation of worldly gain.
